Kings Place

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kings Place is a major construction development site on York Way, Kings Cross, London. Part of the development will be the new headquarters for The Guardian newspaper. Construction on the site began in 2005 and is to be completed in summer 2008.

A major fire at the site, said to have been caused by sparks from welding work, caused the evacuation of the site and the adjacent Kings Cross railway station for two days in June 2006.
