[edit] Little Nemo comics
In the comics, King Morpheus calls upon Little Nemo to be his daughter's official playmate. Little Nemo though won't meet him until weeks later because Nemo keeps waking up through his journey to the King and the Princess.
[edit] Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland (movie)
In the movie, King Morpheus does the same as he did in the comics, with inviting Nemo to be Princess Camille's official playmate. But he also makes Nemo his rightful heir to the throne. The King is seen as a jolly old man with a long puffy beard (very remincient of Santa Claus) and sometimes likes to be called "Morphy". He is kidnapped halfway through the movie by the Nightmare King but is soon rescued, along with everyone else, by Little Nemo who uses the royal specter to defeat the Nightmare King.
He is voiced by Bernard Erhard.
