King Edward VI College

King Edward VI College is a school located in Stourbridge, England, in the West Midlands area. Originally founded in 1552 as a grammar school, it is now an AS- and A-level sixth form college, for students aged 16 to 18.

The college's A-level record compares well with other local and national colleges [1], and in 1996 it came top of the school's league table for sixth form and further education colleges in England. It is currently the second best performing college nationally and the best performing college in the West Midlands.
In 2004, the college was awarded the beacon status following an inspection by government Ofsted. [2]
The college's motto is the Order of the Garter: "Honi Soit qui Mal y Pense" which translated from Old french to "shame upon him who thinks evil of it".
