King Chilla

King Chilla A veteran Jamaican reggae artist and producer specialising in dancehall reggae and Jamaican dub music. Primarily a bass player, his first studio productions were dated 1972 with Jamaican toaster Tappa Zukie and singer Delroy Washington. He later worked on productions with U Roy, Barrington Levy, Papa San, Mutabaruka, Danny Virgo and many others. His debut hit record "Temple Skank" was released in 1984 on a white label. He produced several tracks for the "Worries" record label released in London during mid 80's. Moved to Miami in 1998 where he worked on productions with Lady Saw and Bongo Herman. As a studio engineer he worked with many current dancehall stars including Buju Banton, Kymani Marley and many others.
