This image is a widely distributed promotional image from the American television show, American Idol. The image is of low resolution, used for informational purposes, and it is believed that the use of this image actually accomplishes it's copyright owner's goal of promoting the artist depicted. It is believed that the use of the image on Wikipedia does not undermine the potential market for the sale or licensing of this image.
