[edit] Quick Questions

First, did the series end? I just watched an episode where Drakken is arrested and Kim starts dating Ron. After it's announced that the two are a couple, their classmates applaud, and an outside view of the high school is shown with a sign that reads "The End." Seems like Disney was careful to wrap up all the loose ends.

Second, in the Arabic dub of Kim Possible, will Ron Stoppable continue to be Jewish? I tend to think that the episode where Ron's religious affiliation was revealed will be removed from the list of those aired in Arab countries. --M.Neko 05:49, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

No...Kim Possible has been renewed for a forth season after outcry from fans due to the initial cancellation. No though or knowledge regarding Kim Possible in Arabic. =D Jumping cheese Cont@ct 03:28, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Episode Guide

How should it be organized? Airdate or Production? Jarwulf 04:27, 26 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism notice

04:33, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC): The Kim Possible talk page seems to have been vandalized and the history is empty. I have removed the graffito; someone with better Wiki-Fu than I may be able to restore the earlier version.

[edit] Wade

The page says that Kim & Ron have never met Wade in person; this was true for a long time, but they finally meet in the episode 'Team Impossible' (unless I misremember). Reality check, please? Wyvern 04:33, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

And Sitch In Time: Future, right?
Yup, although technically that might not be true anymore but we might never know I miss the show already...Jarwulf 08:04, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Slang Names

Why is Kim Possible's name slang for the word "impossible" and Ron Stoppable's name slang for the word "unstoppable"? --ZachKudrna18@yahoo.com

  • Probably because "Kim Possible" and "Ron Stoppable" are puns based on "impossible" and "unstoppable," respectively. tregoweth 09:20, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Episode List

There also appears to be a couple of episodes missing form the list. I have 67 on my list that i got off the Disney website. I'll add it to my to do list and check tomorrow. -Drmike 22:39, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] I like the new image Allenk893 added.

The old one was getting kinda old. This one looks way better. --pile0nadestalk | contribs 23:21, 1 August 2005 (UTC)

No it doesn't. Doing the revert shortly. -Drmike 14:14, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
What was wrong with the new image? --pile0nadestalk | contribs 14:46, 8 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] "more than a striking resemblance to Sam from Totally Spies"?

--pile0nadestalk | contribs 02:09, 8 August 2005 (UTC)

Not even close. You also need to learn how to use wikicode. -Drmike 14:16, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
There is little difference between the two shows since they both stink, but on different levels. KIM POSSIBLE is better than TOTALLY SPIES by a long shot. --63.19.217.139 (talk contribs)

I removed the comment as it was highly opinionated. -Drmike 18:44, 9 August 2005 (UTC)

And I put it back. Opinionated comments are SUPPOSED to go on the talk page. Just try removing opinionated comments from Talk:USA PATRIOT Act and see how people react. --pile0nadestalk | contribs 00:01, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
The Talk pages are for opinions about the article in question, not for allowing those to shoot off garbage anytime they want to. -Drmike 22:23, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
Neither shows suck. Even so, comaring TS to KP is like Robt Jones to Teenage Robot - hard desicion.
THEY BOTH REALLY SUCK! Watch something worthwhile like Family Guy or King of the Hill.
That was really mean. Family Guy and King of the Hill are good shows, but so is KP. Don’t get hostile. =D Jumping cheese 04:25, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
One of the things that make the show unique is that it is a comedy aimed at more than just kids, that doesn't revolve around a cliched 'loser' main character. In fact KP is the complete antithesis of a loser and so are her family and most of her friends. Even Ron doesn't really fit the stereotype. Both FG and KOTH can be funny but there comes a point when you want a break from all those cynical shows that are all about laughing at someone's ignorance and stupidity. Jarwulf 21:09, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
Hey wait a second. Totally Spies sucks. Kim Possible was good, but later jumped the shark. it then became the worst show ever (well, not as bad as totally spies or futurama, but got close). Also, as for another comment above, Teenage Robot was AWFUL. Robot Jones was way better. And as for the final one, King of the Hill was great, but Family Guy is unfunny. It is better than Futurama though, FUTURAMA WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST THING EVER MADE!!!!
Don't watch the new KP, watch something good like King of the Hill or Shinigan Down.

[edit] Episode Guide

Anyone feel like expanding the current episode list into an episode guide? I am willing to help, but I can't remember what happened on every single episode. We should then also split it into a different article. -FlyingPenguins 19:19, 26 August 2005 (UTC)

I've begun fixing up List of Kim Possible episodes into something that can stand its own against whats available elsewhere on the web. Any suggestions? How should the list be organized? By Production or Airdate?

Jarwulf 08:37, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Yori's character

The article claims Yori is "a slut". Huh ?

When? Please list link to history page where it says Yori=slut. Just curious...and a wee bit crazy at the moment.

[edit] Good Work!!!

Whoever wrote this needs a medal. User:Thorton

[edit] Minor Spelling Errors Repaired

I fixed some of more moronic speelling errors and removed the bit about Yori being a slut. She is a ninja and the "slut" jokes aren't funny. They never were and they never will be. (Doctor Phen 18:37, 11 November 2005 (UTC)).

[edit] Cyrus Bortel

Yeah, we get it. You don't like Cyrus Bortel. You think he's selfish and thinks that he needs to die painfully. Just let it go already and stop blanking his section without good reason.

[edit] Other family members

Minor characters should be discussed in this article, not in a separate catchall article. Would someone who is familar with the subject material please handle this? Thanks. FreplySpang (talk) 03:26, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

It might be more organized if each minor character is given a separate article page. The Kim Possible article then groups them together and links to the respective articles. =D (same style as the main characters) Jumping cheese 04:20, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
I like the way Invader Zim is laid out. There's a page for all the characters, plus main articles for the major ones. -- ProveIt (talk) 04:25, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ronald Dean Stoppable?

  • His middle name is not Dean, it's Adrian. Dean is stupid. 65.103.86.243
  • We don't know his middle name. End of story. --Erased Paper 17:38, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Section

Added new sections linking to the movies and soundtrack. =D Jumping cheese 04:29, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Miss Kyoko to Miss Yoshiko

The Minor allies in Kim Possible page stated Miss Yoshiko name as Miss Kyoko from since the page was made. Make sure that there are no other naming errors! =D Jumping cheese 05:20, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Kyoko(sp?) is her last name. --Erased Paper 03:19, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Sorry about that...I am humbled. Should the section be relabeled as Nakasumi and Yoshiko Kyoko? =) Jumping cheese 05:07, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
ach. Kyoko is a FIRST name... Yoshiko is probably a surname. I know coz I have a japanese gf whose name is Kyoko XD

[edit] Advertisment?

Is it just me or does the 2nd paragraph (after the 'warning:May contain spoilers tag') sound like an ad for some trying to make me watch the show? I'm almost reminded of the Power Puff girls. (Saving the world before bedtime!) Its a tad too positive about the show. What about the opinions of the people who dislike it? Or simply find that there are holes in its logic? That the villains all seem to want to take over the world or ----? That its too repetitive? (I've only ever seen two episodes, but I feel that there is a whole perspective we're missing out on!) Any thoughts? Bug 03:38, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

It does sound like it's promoting Kim Possible, but the points the paragraph make are true (the awards, number of viewers...). It might have a slight POV issue, but within the tolerable range. =D Jumping cheese 19:38, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Ok. I'll not touch it then ;o) Bug42 (Haven't signed in...)

Actually, not all of the villians want to take over the world. Some are just trying to steal something valuable for their own private collection. Just the vast majority of them do want to take over the world. TriElemental

[edit] External Links Discussion

Can we please stop mucking around with the external links, guys?!? Sheeze! You're worse than my exwife! 152.15.110.46 21:11, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

I have removed a bunch of links from the External Links section that do not comply with Wikipedia's policy on External links (see External_links). In particular, the Remix comic that continues to be listed does not greatly contribute to the Kim Possible, and it potentially violates copyright. The repeated removal of this link by many other people indicates that I am not alone in this view. Please stop adding this link. Zukeeper 05:55, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

  • I suggest you reread the External links policy page. The Remixed webcomic does apply under no less than three of the posted requirments to be listed, copyright credit is given on the site as well and is a unique site compared to the others listed. As to it being removed by a number of people, it is being targeted by a certain forum once again. 152.15.103.85 19:06, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
  • I have re-read the external links policy page as you suggested. Here are my comments based on that page:
What should be linked to: The Remixed site does not satisfy any of these.
Occasionally acceptable links: The Remixed site does not satisfy any of these. In particular, number 3 specifically says "fanlistings are generally not informative and should not ordinarily be included."
Similarly, I have removed the forum links because, under "Links to normally avoid", "Blogs, social networking sites (such as MySpace) and forums should generally not be linked to. Although there are exceptions, such as when the article is about, or closely related to, the website itself, or if the website is of particularly high standard." Yes, they are links about KP, but they do not greatly contribute to an encyclopaedia entry about KP (the uniqueness of a site is irrelevant here). Wikipedia is not meant to be a collection of outside links. I do not believe that the links I have removed add value to the Kim Possible page. Zukeeper 02:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
I find the links that are currently in the External Links section to be acceptable. I don't think any should be added or deleted besides those three. :) —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 14:33, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

I think the KP Tome page (http://kptvtome.hostrocket.com) should be kept in the links section. The Tome is a mecca of KP information. It includes details on descriptions, episodes, settings, characters, extensive screenshots, and recent KP news. It would, to paraphrase Zukeeper, "...greatly contribute to an encyclopaedia entry about KP." [01:00, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Fireand'chutes77]

  • Just a quick mention since I have too much on my plate right now to deal with this. KP Tome should not be allowed as they contain the transcripts which are a violation of copyright. All you have to do is look at the Babylon 5 websites and how they all had to remove their transcripts under threat. If Remixed is going to be kept off for 'copyright' concerns, then so should Tome.

Oh, OK. That's reasonable. (Fireand'chutes77 12:47, 22 June 2006 (UTC))

[edit] Source

The source that links to the "Official Press Release" is used to cite where the info originated from. Please don't remove it. =) Jumping cheese Contact 20:33, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Those weren't the original sources of the article. --Erased Paper 20:35, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

They add credibility. Jumping cheese Contact 20:36, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Well, if you want to have sources, I suggest just having the original post of the press release: http://cabletvtalk.com/showthread.php?t=3149 And also Steve Loter's season 4 announcement: http://z7.invisionfree.com/ARA/index.php?showtopic=909 --Erased Paper 20:43, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Yay...I'm going to add the links as the sources. =) Jumping cheese Contact 20:45, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

As someone who watches Kim everyday, she doesn't deal with family issues.

[edit] Vandalism protection... again!

Once again, this article is getting caught up with acts of vandalism. I think we should ask an Administrator to semi-protect, at the very least, to stop this... It's getting tedious to check this page just to see it's being heavily vandalised.

[edit] Gadgets, equipment, and machines in Kim Possible page

There are so many gadgets and equipment on this show, shouldn't their be a page on it all? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Forlong (talkcontribs) 01:02, 6 December 2006 (UTC).
