[edit] Notability
Why is she notable? Her intro claims it's as an author, but without reviews or awards, she is not notable per WP:BIO. There's also no evidence she was the first female US aviator in combat; she's now more correctly stated as one of the first females flying in a combat zone. So I'm asking the question here: why is she notable? —C.Fred (talk) 16:26, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

A lot of the stuff in this article fails to cite sources. GreenJoe 18:10, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- With the updates, I'm going to remove the facts disputed tag. Most of the article is sourced. The only thing missing is the verifiable and non-controversial "She attended workshops in Prague, Czech Republic, and St. Petersburg, Russia, and later attended the Warren Wilson Program for Writers." --Oakshade 18:38, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
