Kimi Toudou (藤堂 公 Tōdō Kimi) is a fictional character and one of the two presidential secretaries of Kaibara High School (the other one being Naohito Sakuragi) in the manga entitled Fruits Basket. Kimi is an extremely outgoing, fun-loving and strangely adorably manipulative character. She only appears in the Fruits Basket manga.

When Yuki Sohma first met Kimi, she "introduced" herself in a peculiar and rather rude way by trying to manipulate him to share the candy he received as a summer gift from the Prince Yuki Fan Club, and right in front of its members who had just minutes ago offered it to him. Yuki, seeing how angry Motoko Minagawa, the president of the fan club, and the other members were, began to feel angry at Kimi as she laughed and asked her to leave immediately and speak with him privately, later telling her that she should not laugh at people like that and that what she did was wrong and mean. Kimi bluntly ignores and later the whole incident is somewhat forgotten until Kimi later tells the Prince Yuki Fanclub that she shared the candy with Yuki, though this has not been proven and she might have done it just to further annoy them, thus, showing that she has not learned anything from her talk with Yuki.

Though her faults are obvious, however, Kimi does appear to be learning what she was doing wrong in the past, and at the moment tends to be a lot less manipulative in further chapters of the manga and is much more herself than trying to deceive people by her cute looks. She might be nicer than she appears to be, as well, as we have seen when she accompanied Yuki and Kakeru Manabe on the class field trip to Kyoto.

She often speaks in third person referring to herself always as, "Kimi wants this" or "Kimi likes" such and such. She also has a habit of interrupting Yuki's and Machi Kuragi's conversations, particularly when Yuki tries to tell Machi that he is cursed.

At the moment, or depending on what has been revealed, Kimi does not appear to have a 'real' romantic relationship with anyone as of yet. She often, according to Manabe, deceives boys who are already involved in relationships and appears to be quite sexually seductive; for example, she flirts with a teacher in order to make him give her a brand-new whiteboard for the Student Council Room. ^[1]Though, such things might be Manabe and Kimi's own relationship, for they both appear to be somewhat like best friends, for the closeness that they have is oftentimes very noticeable.
