Kimberly Mason

Kimberly Mason (born 19 September 1989 in Manly, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) is Australia's current premier Rhythmic Gymnast (as of Commonwealth Games, 2006). She started rhythmic gymnastics in 1996 originally at PLC Sydney New South Wales, under head coach Nicole Higham, herself an ex rhythmic gymnast. Kimberly is currently doing her NSW Higher School Certificate at the Northern Beaches Secondary College.

Kimberly continues to prove herself as Australia's best rhythmic gymnast with consistently strong performances in International competitions. In the 2005 Australian Championships she consistently placed second, continuing on to be selected into the Australian World CHampionships Team. At the 2005 World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, she only competed 3 out of 4 apparatus but was ranked 64th overall while the next Australian, Naazmi Johnston, was ranked in 94th position. In the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games Kimberly earned herself two individual medals (2nd Ball, 3rd Clubs).
