Kim Ki-young (10 October 1919 - February 5, 1998) was a Korean film director, known for his intensely psychosexual and melodramatic horror films, often dealing primarily with female characters. His best known film is The Housemaid, made in 1960, which features a powerful femme fatale and is widely considered to be one of the best Korean films of all time [1].
