Kim Carson

Kim Carson, also known as "Sherie Weil", is an American radio personality.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Denby High School.

Kim was the first full time female air personality at WDRQ (1978-1985). Kim was awarded "Best Nighttime Radio Personality" in Detroit, and was also the 1st Place winner in the Detroit Celebrity Grand Prix. After her stint at WDRQ Kim moved on to WCZY, WKQI (1985-1989), the first full-time female radio host hired by Gannett.

Kim has worked at radio stations in Detroit including WCSX , WDTX , WDFX AND WOW-FM. She has also worked at WKVQ, Knoxville, TN, which also included a stint as a weekend "weather girl" at WBIR television station, WROK, Rockford, IL, KJYO, Oklahoma City, OK, WAMG, Milwaukee, WI, WMAG, Greensboro, NC and WVKS , WWWM , WRVF , WDMN, Toledo, OH.

Kim Carson is the author of Essence of Life: A Compilation Of Inspiration and Poem (ISBN 0-9659636-0-8). She is currently living in Grand Rapids, Michigan and working the midday shift at New Lite Rock 95.7 WLHT.
