From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kilroy Collins is a notorious internet personality. He can think on his own, create ideas on his own, and hates wikipedia! Why is everything good deleted? Where else are you going to find topics that emerged last week? What other encyclopedia will have an article on Attempted Black Hole entries? Do you people want wikipedia to be normal?

Welcome!

Hello Kilroy Collins, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

Also, I see you were a little upset at the article for Middle Korea being deleted. I think the reason that it may have been called a hoax might be that it is technically a virtual- or cyber-nation, not a micronation. The micronations listed in the wikipedia article are settlements where the actual residents of the area have formally seceded from the nation of which they were previously a part, or have settled a location not a formal part of any nation and declared it a new country (as with Sealand), but which have not been formally recognized by most of the rest of the world. It seems as though the only references to Middle Korea as a micronation are at The Micronational Cartography Society, which deals only with Micronations that exist only online.

If you still want to get Middle Korea on Wikipedia, you might want to try starting an article on the Cyber-Nation phenomenon - if it was written well, it might pass AFD. If Middle Korea really is an actual, real-world (as opposed to online-only) cyber nation, then there should have been at least some press coverage on the secession. If that's the case, all you should need to do to get the article included in Wikipedia is cite a few verifiable sources from the media. Thanks, and enjoy Wikipedia! -- Vary | Talk 17:10, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Middle Korea

Hi Kilroy,

Here's the deletion record of Middle Korea :

   * 18:40, 1 January 2006 User:Jeffrey O. Gustafson deleted "Middle Korea" (nonsense/hoax)
   * 03:48, 6 December 2005 User:Mailer diablo deleted "Middle Korea" (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Middle Korea)

Your version of Middle Korea, in short, wasn't speedy deleted by me. Please do take note, that original research and patent nonsense is not allowed on Wikipedia though.

So, where else would you find an article on Middle Korea? Encarta? Middle Korea is patent nonsense? I see. What do you know about Middle Korea?
