[edit] Tips

  • Dubious unsourced statements can just be removed, or as a less drastic measure, placing {{fact}} after them results in this:[citation needed] .
  • Articles rife with dubious unsourced statements can just have {{verify}} placed at top, which results in this:
Some information in this article or section has not been verified and may not be reliable.

Please check for any inaccuracies, and modify and cite sources as needed.

  • Other temlates flagging the article as needing copy editing, etc etc etc can be found at Wikipedia:Templates
  • To restore an article to a previous, better version, click on the history tab. Then click on the date of the desired version to bring up that version, then edit (you'll get a warning that you're editing an old version, which you can ignore), then save (with or without additonal edits of your own).
  • Don't worry about having to take on a whole article in order to make corrections. Any improvements are welcome, and other editors will come along later and continue the work.
  • Be bold, don't worry, happy Wikiing! Herostratus 11:34, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
