Coordinates: 54.3583° N 8.0367° WKiltyclogher (Coillte Clochair in Irish) is a village in County Leitrim, Ireland. An hour from Sligo and Donegal, Kilty is a small and poorly populated village. Despite this, Kilty annually holds the Michael Shanley Traditional Music Weekend, in commemoration of the late Michael Shanley. Kilty is also home to the Cosy Corner Pub and the Leitrim Lakes Hostel. Kilty is the bordering town to Glenfarne and it is seven miles between Kilty town and Glenfarne town. It is also the birth place of Sean McDiarmad, one of the leaders executed in 1916 by the British. It is a beautiful small town, which translates to stoney woods. It is on the border with Fermanagh, however two of the connecting roads were destroyed by the British during the troubles - these have since been re-opened, however the town was isolated during the troubles hence the small population.
