Killertron

Killertron is a robot that competed in the British television show Robot Wars. Appearing in series 1, 2 & 4 the robot was very striking with it's wheely-bin lid armour, pink colouring and large pick-axe for a weapon.

Killertron appeared in the first heat of series 1, alongside Roadblock, Nemesis, Shogun, Barry and Grunt. After completing the gauntlet and surviving the sumo-basho, Killertron was drawn to face Shogun in the heat semi-final. After winning this Killertron faced Roadblock in the heat final where they drove up of Roadblock's wedge before falling off the side and landing upside down. They could not self-right and so were immobilised, meaning that Roadblock won the heat and later the championship.

Killertron returned for series 2 seeded number 4 and this time painted in orange rather than pink. After successfully completing the gauntlet and king of the castle trial they were drawn against Orac in the heat semi-final. Killertron managed to get their axe to damage Orac before trapping them on the flamepit. After winning this fight Killertron faced Technophobic in the heat final. Killerton this time used their power to push Technophobic into the pit.

In the series semi-final Killertron once again completed the Gauntlet and pinball trial before being drawn up against Behemoth for a place in the series grand final. Killertron damaged the top of Behemoth by repeatedly smashing it with it's heavy pick-axe. After winning this fight Killerton had made it through to the series grand final along with Roadblock, Panic Attack and Cassius.

Killertron faced Panic Attack for a place in the final. Panic Attack though proved too strong for Killertron through pushing them around the arena. Killertron then had a rematch with Roadblock in the 3rd place play-off. Once again Roadblock managed to defeat Killertron meaning that they finished 4th overall in the series.

Killertron's fist fight in Series 4 was a melee with Suicidal Tendencies and Maverick. After surving this Killertron were drawn up against Wheely Big Cheese in the heat semi-final. Killertron drove up on the flipper of Wheely Big Cheese where they were flipped high in the air landing upside down. Immobilised they were counted out of the contest.
