Killarney Secondary School, is located in the northwest corner of the Killarney neighbourbood in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Amongst all the public secondary schools in the city, it holds both the largest area and population.

[edit] History

Killarney opened in September 1957 with 1,260 students in grades 7–10. Grade 11's were added the following year and Grade 12's in 1959. The school was expanded over the next ten years as the surrounding neighbourhood was populated.
