Offering panoramic views of Middle Harbour, Killarney Heights is a suburb with a high standard of living. The suburb is located on Roseville Chase, and is easily accessible via Forest Way to the North and Roseville Bridge to the South.

Killarney Heights is about 20mins away from the city during non peak hours. The only public transport around this area is through a private bus company, Forest Coach Lines. Routes that go through Killarney Heights include trips to and from the City and Chatswood.

There are two schools in Killarney Heights and many more around the area. Killarney Heights Primary is situated across the road from Killarney Heights Oval. Killarney Heights High School is situated next to the oval. A preschool is also nearby.

The suburb is located next to Forestville. It's interesting to note that almost every street name in Killarney Heights is named after Irish placenames. (e.g. Blarney Avenue, Dublin Avenue)
