[edit] St. Patrick's College, Kilbirnie

We appreciate your contributions to the St. Patrick's College, Kilbirnie article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. For this reason your edits have been reverted or removed. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the information in your own words. If you do, please remember to cite your source(s). For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thanks. -gadfium 03:58, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Unfortunately, you would have to prove that you originally wrote the material, and that you still have copyright to it. The simplest method is to put a GFDL licence on the web page containing it. I understand that you don't want to have to rewrite the material, but perhaps someone else will improve the article later.
I appreciate the improvements you've made to other articles.-gadfium 04:25, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
I've reluctantly removed most of the material from the History section. This does leave the article unbalanced, but I'd rather have it unbalanced than as a copyright violation.-gadfium 04:50, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the rewrite. I've moved the page to St. Patrick's College, Wellington. You have to be logged in to move a page. I've also relinked David Kennedy (New Zealand), but feel free to change that to David Kennedy (Rector) or whatever you consider is more appropriate. Once you create that article, update the disambiguation page David Kennedy to make it easier for people to find it.-gadfium 23:01, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
