[edit] Genre?

Well I would definitely say it isn't rock... --Macarion 00:24, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ondes Martenot

about the following statement in the article:

According to interviews, the vocal effect was actually achieved by running Thom's microphone through the input of guitarist Jonny Greenwood's ondes martenot, an early electronic instrument Greenwood played on several other tracks of the album. IIRC in that interview it is said that the effect was used during the sessions but didnt specify the song, but im not certain. TNA sounds as a better candidate for this effect. I think "kid A" (the song) usesa vocoder but its not my field of expertise. If nobody reacts I am gonna remove the section.

[edit] Drum machine?

Is the electronic drum sound on this track (and the rest of the album) really produced by a drum machine? I was under the impression that they were either electronic drum pads, or else acoustic drums filtered through some kind of electronic device. The rhythms seem too inconsistent to be done on a standard drum machine. 209.94.161.31 04:34, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
