Why, hello there! You'll never read this page, but if you do, you are awesome. I'm Mike, a 21-year-old junior at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. I was born in Newark, New Jersey [the same place of birth as my co-favorite athlete (along with Greg Maddux), Shaquille O'Neal], but I have lived in West Orange, proud home of Thomas Edison, for my entire life. It's quite nice there. I'm in a sketch comedy troupe named Boris' Kitchen (but am not a particularly great actor or writer), I play a lot of intramural sports (and am bad at most of them), and I also play video games far too much (but at least I'm good at those). I have the absolute best parents in the entire world, not to mention a great sister, the cutest dog ever, and two wonderful cats. I'm also lucky enough to be madly in love with a girl whom I started dating four years ago; she's my everything, and despite my young age, I'm hoping to spend the rest of my life with her. Aside: I created my WP account on her birthday. Coincidence? Yes... yes it was.

My summer job in 2005 was working for defense contractor BAE, while in 2006, I worked at Turtle Back Zoo. I'm a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to being bored at work.

My obsession with Wikipedia most notably extends to my unending editing of the wiki for my favorite band of all-time, Splashdown. I generally prefer clean-up and rarely create new pages, but hey, anything's possible. I also greatly enjoy looking at new pages, whether it be to read about topics I've never heard of or to tag crap for deletion. Random articles and Articles for Deletion can be fun, too. Some may call me a "deletionist", but I simply feel that non-notable people and things do not deserve articles.

As of 05:25, 12 December 2006 (UTC), I have 4,788 total edits (with just over 50% in the WP namespace, such as in AfDs). This number if both far, far, FAR larger than I'd imagined it would be, and quite scary, as I really don't want to consider myself as using this site so damn frequently.

I'm in no way going to name names, but I've come to realize that some (specific) Wikipedia editors really, really, REALLY, REALLY piss me off. I could restrict my language, but I choose not to when I say that there are some "contributors" (I guess one can contribute negatively, as well) to this site who are fucking idiots. I honestly have nothing wrong with AfD inclusionists, or even school inclusionists, but when you can't provide any rationale whatsoever besides "this seventeen-student-strong elementary school is Mozambique is notable because all schools of all kinds are notable," you don't deserve to vote- and when you just state "all schools are notable," you're doing nothing more than voting.

Some cool stuff about me:
