The Kia Pride was a subcompact automobile produced from 1986 to 2000. It was replaced by the Rio in 2001. The Pride was a rebadged version of the Mazda 121. Kia also produced this vehicle for Ford to be sold as the Ford Festiva in some markets.

The Pride was sold in compact sedan (LX, GTX, ß) and hatchback (CD-5) models, the latter sporting either three or five doors depending on the regional market. A station-wagon and saloon model were also produced. Originally powered by 1.1 L or 1.3 L carbureted petrol engines. In 1995 the base 1.1 L engine was dropped and the remaining 1.3 L engine received fuel injection in order to meet EU emissions requirements. Production continued until the summer of 2000 when Kia launched the larger Rio. The Rio competed in the compact category against cars like the Ford Focus and Volkswagen Golf instead of the smaller subcompact model, where the Pride competed against the Volkswagen Lupo and also sold as the Ford Festiva. The demise of the Kia Pride meant that the marque did not have a subcompact hatchback until the launch of the Picanto in 2003.

SAIPA built the Kia Pride in Iran under license using up to 85% local parts content. The Saipa Pride remained in production from 2001 to 2005. SAIPA then began production of a new model based on the Pride called the Saipa 141 (a 5 door hatchback) while continuing to sell the Iranian version of the Pride under the names Saipa Saba (4 door sedan) and Saipa Nasim (5 door hatchback).

The Kia Pride is the home-market name for the car exported to Europe and North America as the Kia Rio.
