Boulahrouz was sent of in the Round of 16, not in the "Quarterfinals"!

I changed his club to Chelsea, as the club confirmed today that he is "the new signing", and coach José Mourinho spoke openly about him. He may even be in contention for the game against Middlesbrough on Wednesday. Feel free to revert but as the club has said he has signed for them I thought it ok to change his club on here. 124.182.130.56 19:48, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Rusty8

Ok I'll leave it as it is for now since you did provide a good source which is useful since it has Mourinho saying stuff about him. jacoplane 19:51, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Height

Ok, so there's a problem here, [1] & [2] say his height is 1'76/5'9 ... [3] says 6'3 ... so which is it? jacoplane 22:01, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Hi all, just to confirm that he's definitely 6'3. The 5'9 stems from an error on the Hamburg website, who are his previous club. Having seen him during the World Cup, there's no way he's 5'9, and team photos show he's a little bit taller than Van Nistelrooy, who is 6'2. 83.100.128.251 02:16, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Good idea. I found a picture here which shows him during the World Cup, wearing the number 4 shirt, which shows his height compared to others. 83.100.128.251 02:20, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
  • height is 6 foot this is from chelseas website s check it out Before boarding the Chelsea team coach, Boulahrouz cleared up another misunderstanding. Since his signing his height has been reported as anything between 5ft 9ins to 6ft 3ins. Even his former club Hamburg have him recorded as on the small side for a central defender. “I am 1m 83cm,” he states. That figure converts to 6ft in imperial measurement. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.5.120.146 (talk • contribs).

He is 6"3 no doubt about that..I felt he was 6"5 when I saw him first. --Yu5uF 09:10, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

He said himself that he is 6ft tall. Also, Jose has remarked that he is relatively quick for a defender. Someone 6'3 or 6'5 would never be even remotely quick. I think it best it be 1.83cm. Bobbyfletch85 13:59, 1 September 2006 (UTC) thats rubbish bobb, you get loadsa quick tall players! drogbas 6.2 hes pacey as. mikels prety quik and hes 6.3

"Someone 6'3 or 6'5 would never be even remotely quick."

Asafa Powell is 6'2 and he has a bit of pace (current 100m record holder)
