Khaled Edward Blair

Khaled Edward Blair (née Edward Blair) was born in London in 1975, to Douglas Blair Q.C. and his wife Diana. He went to school at Eton College and has a BA Hons in the History of Art from Bristol University. Following his BA, he studied Law at the College of Law in London. He qualified as a barrister in 1998, being called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn. He now works for an investment bank in the City of London. Edward converted to Islam in May of 2004, taking the pre name Khaled. He got engaged to Princess Badiya bint El Hassan in September of 2004 and married her in Amman in June of 2005. His father-in-law is Prince Hassan bin Talal (brother of the late King Hussein) and his mother-in-law is Princess Sarvath of Jordan.
