[edit] Article name
I have moved this article back to KGMB from KGMB-TV. Consensus on both WP:NC#Broadcasting and Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television_Stations#Article_names is that the article name should reflect the actual call letters of the TV station. As can be seen here: [1] the call letters for this station are in fact KGMB. Any concerns regarding this topic would be best addressed here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television_Stations. —A 04:53, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Where the heck are Checkers & Pogo?
I simply CAN'T BELIEVE the KGMB article makes no mention of what is still Hawaii's most beloved kid's show! It's no exaggeration to say that virtually every youngster in the islands watched the afternoon show from 1967 to 1982 (actually, it was mostly rerun footage after 1978 when Jim Demarest/Mr. Checkers #3 retired), and many, including your's truly, were on it!. The KGMB website had an excellent section on them around the time their special Checkers & Pogo Remembered aired (still available on VHS), but it's been gone for several years. They truly deserve a Wikipedia page of their own!
