KFSH-FM
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
KFSH-FM 95.9 FM plays a contemporary Christian music format full time. They are owned by Salem Media and serve Los Angeles with a Class A Signal. The station is known as "The Fish".
For years they had various secular formats under the callsign KEZY, based out of a station in Anaheim, California, and went through several owners. The station served suburban Los Angeles. Capstar owned the radio station by 1996 and in 1999 when Capstar and Chancellor merged the station would be owned by AMFM.
In 2000 when Clear Channel and AMFM merged 95.9 was sold to Salem Media. At the same time KFSG would move from 96.3 to 93.5 and drop music most of the day. As a result Salem renamed 95.9 KFSH and put a contemporary Christian music format on the station full time with no teaching programs.
