[edit] What
Since early childhood I have been interested in creating things. It started with legos and advanced into computer-related fields after my discovery of the computer somtime in the mid-late 1990's. Growing up in a small town in Oregon presented me with lots of free time and nothing to do. I often spent hours on the computer just finding ways to vent my creativity. After getting dial-up around 1998 I took my creativity to the web. My first programming experience came when I started messing around with mIRC, an IRC client with its own scripting language. I found scripting to be immensly fun and decided I should learn some languages that would actually get me somewhere. I next learned HTML and PHP, which brought me to my current interest in web related programming. Since then I have self-taught myself many programs and computing languages. My passion for computers has continued through high school and into college where I find myself pursuing a degree in Multimedia.
