Keys to Ascension 2 is a double album by the British progressive rock group Yes and was released in 1997. It is the successor to the critically-acclaimed Keys to Ascension package from 1996. It is the last album to include Rick Wakeman with the band.
Like its predecessor, the first six tracks of Keys to Ascension 2 were recorded live in San Luis Obispo, California in March 1996. The second disc features new studio recordings from the same sessions that produced the two studio tracks on Keys to Ascension.
Although a little less successful than volume one, Keys to Ascension 2 is just as highly regarded by most Yes critics and followers.
Keys to Ascension 2 features cover art by Roger Dean on an outer sleeve that fits around the package. On the sleeve the image's predominant color is magenta, but the booklet features the painting in its original blue coloration.
