Kewlchat Network

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kewlchat Network is a network of around 50 web chat sites built around a flagship site, justachat.com. The network uses a common Chatspace chat server, allowing users from all sites to interact with each other. It has 4 main channels, targeted at different age groups, which are moderated by volunteers. In addition, it allows users to apply to create their own custom channels, which they can control moderation of. Many of the sites in the network include other services like forums, webmail, online games, and picture rating services.

The Kewlchat Network was created by Brent Cloyd in March 2000.[1]. In October 2006, the network of sites was sold to a new owner, Sam Dennis, founder of Canadian internet company, Impulse Leads.[2][3]
