Kevin Spidel

Kevin Spidel is the National Deputy Director for Progressive Democrats of America and works on several different progressive campaigns at any given time as a political consultant. He resides in the West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona.
Recently he was the Campaign Manager for Christine Cegelis for Congress. He was the National Director and founder of Progressive Vote which merged into Progressive Democrats of America at Roxbury College in Boston, MA during the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He is also the former National Political Director & National Field Director for the Kucinich for President in 2004. His political career started out as a Western Field Organizer for Amnesty International, USA. He worked to lobby against the Death Penalty and worked toward building coalitions of faith based communities on the issue of Death Penalty Abolishment. He went on to serve as a grassroots field trainer for Amnesty International and has taught many grassroots workshops on various issues from partisan work within social justice movements to organizing large scale multi-state lobbying efforts.
