Kevin Owens (born June 9, 1980 in Haddonfield, New Jersey) is a professional basketball player currently playing with the Cairns Taipans in Cairns, Australia. Owens replaced popular center Chris Burgess as the Taipans American import. Before playing in Australia Owens played 3 seasons in the NBA D-League, a minor league system for the NBA. (National Basketball League) Owens attended Monmouth University.
