Kevin Griffin (born October 1, 1968) is an American musician.
Griffin formed the band Better Than Ezra in 1987, within a year after moving from Monroe, Louisiana to attend Louisiana State University (ΚΣ) in September 1986. The band had its greatest success in the 1990's with hits such as "Good", "In the Blood" and "Desperately Wanting."
While continuing to currently record and tour, Griffin has also branched out into the field of producing and co-writing songs for other recording artists, such as Howie Day and Graham Colton. Most recently, Griffin co-wrote four tracks on Missy Higgins' 2004 four-times platinum Australian debut album, which including the hit "Scar."
He recently moved from New Orleans to Los Angeles in 2006 with his wife and child.
The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and recently performed in La Crosse, Wisconsin's annual Riverfest. The band had a fine performance that included many of their "top" songs. The concert was performed on the banks of the Mississippi River; which added to the serenity and overall connection between the band and the fans due to La Crosse's and New Orleans' geographical relevance to the Mississippi River.
