Kevin 'Noodles' Wasserman (born February 4, 1963 in Los Angeles, California) is the lead guitarist and background vocalist for The Offspring. During the band's early days as high school teenagers, he was the school janitor and got in the band because he was the only one who could purchase alcohol legally. [1][2]

He is easily recognised from his black glasses and (currently) dark/gray coloured spiky hair. According to Offspring legend, Kevin's hair started turning grey when he was 18 years old.

He has two signature Ibanez guitars, one with a mock duct tape finish (type NDM1) and another with The Offspring's Conspiracy of One logo with glasses (type NDM2). He got the nickname "Noodles" from Thom Wilson for his habit of "noodling", a term used to describe improvising lead solo parts on guitar. He also has a habit of jumping while playing guitar during concerts.

[edit] Personal life

Noodles is married to Jackie Patrice Wasserman. He has a daughter, Chelsea Nicole Wasserman, with Denise Clark, step-sister of Ron Welty. Jackie and Kevin have a son named Jackson. Noodles has a tattoo on his right shoulder of a sun with the letters CN in the center (which stand for Chelsea Nicole).

His hobbies include snowboarding, surfing, fishing and skateboarding.
