Kessel (pronunciation (help·info)) is a municipality and a town in the southeastern Netherlands. The municipality had 4,246 residents (as of July 1, 2006). Kessel borders on the Helden Woods (Heldense Bossen).
By Kessel lie two nature areas: Eikelenpeel and Musschenberg.
