Keshiary is a small town 27 km from Kharagpur, 23 km from IIT Kharagpur and 18 km from Salua. It is conneted to Kharagpur and Medinipur by buses of both private companies and the state government's (West Bengal) SBSTC (South Bengal State Transport Corporation).
