Kerteh

Kerteh is a small oiltown in southern Terengganu, Malaysia. The town's economy is based on the petroleum and petrochemical industries. A huge oil refinery is located not far from the old town near Paka. Exxon Mobile a major oil and gas company used to be based in Kerteh until 2003 when they pull out. Now Petronas, Malaysia's national oil company takes full charge in Kerteh.
