Kerson Huang (Chinese: 黃克孫; pinyin: Huáng Kèsūn) (born 1928) grew up in Guangzhou, China, and is currently Professor of Physics Emeritus at MIT. His name is more familiar to Chinese readers as the translator of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyám. Huang rendered, or rather adapted, Edward Fitzgerald's famous adaptation into classical Chinese verse when he was a young postgraduate of physics. The book had been out-of-print for years, but was reprinted in Taiwan in 1989. Today the edition is available in public libraries in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and has attracted many new readers.

As a scientist, he published books about statistical physics. With his wife Rosemary, he co-translated I Ching into English. The book was published in 1984.
