Kerry-Ann Thoo is one of Australia's brightest up and coming dancers and actresses. She has become famous through her work on the Seven Network's Backyard Science and her work on the 2006 Australian film Razzle Dazzle:A Journey Into Dance.

Kerry-Ann Thoo was born on the 14th December 1992. She is of Malaysian heritage. She has one younger sister. She lives in Sydney's north-west and she attends McDonald College, North Strathfield.

Kerry-Ann joined Constant Groove Dance Studio in 1999, when she was seven years of age. She has long been one of the best students at Constant Groove, winning the Most Perpetual Trophy in 2001 and the Best Performer in 2004. In 2004 and 2005, she appeared at the Australian Dance Idol. In 2005, she made the top 30, which is a fantastic achievement.

She joined the Junior Showgroup in 2002, with Amy Hawkins, Renee Burrows, Holly Sheils and Josh O'Grady. Together they have won many awards, such as the Junior Mo Awards-4th Place, and have done many performances at places such as Movieworld and Seaworld on the Gold Coast. However, their most prestigious performance would have to be on the NRL Footy Show, where they won their heat of No Talent Time.

On Backyard Science Kerry-Ann is one of the kids who presents the experiments. She is one of the more well-known kids, and she has had to act as everything from a rich snobbish ballet dancer to a girl who loves the outdoors, especially mud.
[edit] Razzle Dazzle: A Journey into Dance
Kerry Ann stars as a main character named Millie in the all-Australian cast of razzle Dazzle: A journey into dance. She is one of the 12 members of the dance group, the Jazzketeers, who the story revolves around, and their efforts to make their way to the top of the the dance eisteddfods and competitions, and the tears and tantrums along the way. Razzle Dazzle is due to be shown at the Cannes film Festival 2006 and will premiere in Australia in mid-October 2006.
