[edit] Overview
Keroro is the erstwhile and eternal antihero of the series. Ever since he arrived at Earth, Keroro's been a pretty easygoing, lazy, and is interested in things like anime, surfing the Internet, and constructing Gundam models. However, he can sometimes be charismatic and violent that can even frighten the Keroro Platoon itself. He's shown to be very greedy at times, since he makes deals with the NPG, anyone who's rich, and other alien organizations that can pay him a hefty prize. He's the butt of the series' humor, usually after taking advantage of his Earth house hosts and his platoon members. If ever on a stormy day, Keroro takes in much of the humidity than any of the platoon members and changes from the ignorant and friendly fellow into an aggressive and raging maniac. There's a running gag for this that whenever Keroro takes in too much humidity, he attracts several Nyororos' attention and gets sucked up. At almost every episode, Keroro thinks of many plots to take over Earth; some weird, some diabolical, and some even totally stupid. He mostly ends his sentences with the term 'de arimasu', which is a formal term of 'let it be so' or 'it is'. His birthday is on December 9, a week from Natsumi's birthday. His name orginates from the Japanese term on the sound a frog makes.
