Kentucky Route 693 is also known as Diedrich Boulevard in Flatwoods and Russell. It was widened from a two-lane route from KY 207 in Flatwoods to its eastern terminus at US 23 in Russell in 2000. This involved the construction of two new bridges spanning White Oak Creek, and the widening of the highway to three and five lanes.
It was co-named the Billy Ray Cyrus Boulevard in Flatwoods in 2004 after the noted artist. It is not an official designation.
