Kentucky Route 1925, also known as Bryant Road, was originally much longer in length. Before Man o' War Boulevard was constructed, KY 1925 existed from US 25/US 421/Richmond Road to US 60. It was known as Todds Road from Richmond Road to Cadentown, and Bryant Road from Cadentown to its eastern terminus at US 60.
When Man o' War Boulevard was completed around what is now the Hamburg Pavilion shopping complex east of Liberty Road in the late 1980s, KY 1425's new western terminus was at Man o' War Boulevard at Interstate 75.
