Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne

Kenton is a suburb and electoral ward in the north west of Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It borders the Town Moor and is on the road towards Newcastle Airport.
The area is notable for the one of the biggest school in the UK - Kenton Technology College (approx. 2000 students) and the Kingston Park shopping area.
Kenton is served by the Tyne and Wear Metro, with stations at Kingston Park and Kenton Bank Foot. Nearby places include Fawdon and Blakelaw.
