Kent Reliance Building Society is a building society based in Kent, UK. Incorporating the Chatham Reliance (established 1898) Dover District (established 1861) Herne Bay (established 1888) and Kent & Canterbury (established 1847), Kent Reliance is proud of having served the people of Kent for over 150 years.

With assets of over £1 billion, and with a network of branches and agencies throughout the UK.

The Society has recently embarked upon a massive branch reduction programme under the chief executive Mike Lazenby. This has seen the number of branches reduce from 14 to 2, after a scheme to use agency branches in other company's premises failed. Mr Lazenby describes branches as "a liability". [1]
