Kenilworth Wardens Cricket Club

Kenilworth Wardens Cricket Club are an amateur cricket club in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England. Their 1st XI is currently in the Birmingham and District Premier League premier division and theyir 2nd XI is in the first division. They play their home games at Glasshouse Park, Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth.

Their 3rd XI and 4th XI play in the Cotswold Hills league. They also run a Sunday 1st XI and 2nd XI, as well as a Ladies XI. They have a large junior section that runs teams and training at many age groups between 8 and 16.

The name Wardens dervies from the fact the club was founded by a group of Air Raid Wardens at the end of World War II. The club had a nomadic existence in its early days before settling first in Leyes Lane, and then moving to purpose built premises in Glasshouse Lane.

They should not be confused with Kenilworth Cricket Club, which is a separate club that plays in the Warwickshire Cricket League.
