Ken Sunshine

Kenneth Mark Sunshine (12 March 1948 - ) grew up in Long Island and is a graduate of Cornell University. He started working for ASCAP. He then moved on to politics, serving as chief-of-staff for David Dinkins during his time as mayor of New York City (1990—1993). After Dinkins lost to Rudolph W. Giuliani, Sunshine started a public relations firm, where he represented Barbra Streisand.

Sunshine's clients now include Ben Affleck, John Mayer, Jon Bon Jovi, Barbra Streisand, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jimmy Fallon, Justin Timberlake, and several unions including 1199SEIU and the Transport Workers Union Local 100. He gained notoriety for his fight against the "stalkerazzis." He has filed numerous lawsuits against many of the top celebrity gossip magazines. He was recently listed as one of New York magazine's most powerful people in New York City. Sunshine resides in Manhattan.
