Ken Goodall

Kenneth George Goodall (February 23, 1947August 17, 2006) was a former Irish international rugby union and Lions player and vice principal at Faughan Valley Primary School.

He was educated at Newcastle University where he studied chemical engineering. He was educated at Foyle and Londonderry College, and made his debut on the team in a match against Australia on January 21, 1967 and subsequently played for Ireland in 19 successive matches until March 14, 1970.

He was a member of City of Derry and played rugby league for the English club Workington Town in the first and second divisions. He was reinroduced to rugby union and was reinstated by the Irish Rugby Football Union when the game became professional.
