Kelso is a suburb of Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, in the Bathurst Regional Council area. It is the original European settlement in the area. It is on the eastern banks of the Macquarie River and the first farmers moved to grants here in 1816.

The Secondary school In Kelso was opened in 1978 and remains open to this day despite a fire in August of 2005 The school is currently housed in demountable buildings, while a new school is being built.
