Kelly Kapowski

Kelly Kapowski (Now Morris) is a fictional character in the popular television series Saved By The Bell, played by Tiffani Amber Thiessen.
She was the love interest of fellow Bayside High School student, Zack Morris. Kelly was the most popular girl at school and also managed to be head cheerleader and captain of the volleyball team! At the start of her freshman year, Zack had been trying to go out with Kelly ever since she can remember. For a while, a feud began between Zack and fellow student A.C. Slater over who would be her boyfriend. During her sophomore year, Slater conceded defeat to Zack and she and Zack began dating. She was even his date to the prom. The couple had briefly broken up when she agreed to go out on a date with an ex-boyfriend, much to Zack's dismay.
The following school year marked the end of their relationship. Kelly began working at The Max and fell for her boss, Jeffrey Hunter, played by Patrick Muldoon. Breaking Zack's heart, he plotted to make her jealous by going out with another girl. The two eventually became friends and dated other people (mainly because they hung out with the same group of friends and had to see each other in school every day). While vacationing in Palm Springs for Jessie Spano's father's wedding, Zack and Kelly flirted with the possibility of getting back together but again only remained friends.
For her senior year at Bayside, Kelly became involved in some extracurricular activities. She was once again pursued by former boyfriend, Zack, to accompany him to the prom. She accepted. As graduation approached, Kelly stated she could not afford to go to an out-of-state university and instead would attend community college. She and her friends graduated from Bayside High in 1993 and went their separate ways.
After being on a waiting list for enrollment at California University, Kelly became accepted into Cal U, joining her former high school friends (Zack, Slater, and Screech) as suitemates. She also became the new roommate of Leslie Burke and Alex Taber. She and Zack briefly dated but ended the short union when Kelly became attracted to her professor in Cultural Anthropology, Dr. Jeremiah Laskey. She and Professor Laskey broke up when he realized that Zack still had strong feelings for her and objected to her relationship with him. To clear her mind and focus on school, she decided to remain single for a while. Zack makes a final attempt to win her over when she decides to go on a Foreign Study for three months. Zack proposed to Kelly, in which she accepted.
Without much support from their families, Zack and Kelly had planned to suddenly elope later that year in Las Vegas. The couple managed to bring Slater, Screech, and Lisa Turtle with them for the event. Just prior to the exchange of vows at the ceremony, Zack's parents rush in, stopping the wedding. They tell Zack and Kelly that they will give them the wedding of their dreams.
A few days later, Zack and Kelly have a beautiful wedding outside in the Las Vegas area. Lisa and Jessie stand as bridesmaids while Screech and Slater stand as groomsmen. Also in attendance are Bayside principal, Mr. Belding, Cal U resident advisor Mike Rogers, and Alex their suitemate.
Following the wedding, Zack and Kelly left for a romantic honeymoon.
When Zack and Slater made a joint guest appearance on "Saved by the Bell: The New Class" a few years later, Slater asked Zack how "the Mrs." (presumably Kelly) is doing. Zack replied "Good."
