Kelly D. Williams

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kelly D. Williams is an accomplished American artist, poet, and graphic designer. Growing up as a dedicated skateboarder in an archetypal small town provided Williams with an intrinsic need to be distinctly creative. Artistic invention & expression has been a key element in his art career, and the fact that Williams has been geographically disconnected from the lowbrow, outsider, and street art scene at large for most of his career has obviously given him a unique view of what it means to be an artist.

Upon closer study, it is easy to recognize the influence of artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Mike Giant and Mark Gonzales in Williams’ colorful collection of work. This raw form of art has been exhibited in various galleries in New York City, Salt Lake City, Austin, San Francisco, Los Angeles and the United Kingdom. Williams currently continues to work as a highly demanded designer and freelance artist.
