Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology

Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology or KCAET the only Agricultural Engineering college in Kerala, is named after the veteran freedom fighter and well known social reformer Sri. K. Kelappan.
The College is affiliated to the faculty of Agricultural Engineering of Kerala Agricultural University.
B.Tech. & M.Tech. Agricultural Engineering Courses were started in this 99 acre Campus in 1985.
The major courses offered at KCAET are B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering with intake capacity of 40 and M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering.
M.Tech[Ag.Engg.] is offered in the desciplines of Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Farm Power Machinery and Energy, Food Processing Engineering each having a intake capacity of 5.

- B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering): selected by the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Government of Kerala
- M.Tech. programmes: selected by Kerala Agricultural University based on entrance tests.
