[edit] Castlevania
Hello, Keith. Welcome to Wikipedia.
I saw the screenshots you've added to the Castlevania: Dracula X and the Super Castlevania IV articles. They're both screenshots from taken from the final boss, right? Well, first of all, I'd like to ask you to always take a lot of care when you add new images to small articles like that, full of images and a box. It's a problem, because when something like an image is added, all the formatting of the page is changed to accept the picture, and that usually make things look pretty bad. The appearance of the article gets irregular. I managed to make things look a little better on the Castlevania IV one, but I really couldn't do much on the Dracula X one. There isn't any place where I can put the new picture there, so things still look pretty bad on it. That's why it would be a good idea to take care when adding new pictures like that. In certain cases (like these), it's usually better to not add new pics until the article grows to a good size. Good enough to support more things on them without losing the formatting.
Also, there's another problem. Since those pics show the last boss in the games, they are spoilers. Some of the people that come to those articles certainly intend to play those games, and in that case, they become spoilers. That's not a very good thing here on Wikipedia. Sure, we can always add spoiler tags to the body of the articles, but when it comes to pictures, it gets very hard not to see them. I'll ask you to consider changing them to screenshots that show some earlier level in those games. I know seeing Dracula is cool and all, but it's really a bad practice here.
I know you'll understand. If you could take care of those two problems, it would be very nice. It's also a good idea to spend some time paying attention to the way things work here on Wikipedia. Also check the links Graham left up there. Those are the best ways of learning what works and what doesn't. Thank you.--Kaonashi 01:24, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Dim Mak
You may want to rework your Dim Mak page. It appears to be plagerized from www.dimmak.net.
Welcome aboard!

Sorry, i was about to edit the page into my own words later. Also i just found a article about this, so this article can be deletedKeithV 17:11, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- heh... OK, I'm not a deleter, but I'll let you put the tag on the page. Later, man. Roodog2k 17:21, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Gallery articles up for deletion!
I noticed that these articles:
- Gallery of Nintendo Entertainment System screenshots
- Gallery of Super Nintendo Entertainment System screenshots
- Gallery of Sega Mega Drive and Sega Genesis screenshots
- Gallery of Sega Master System screenshots
that you worked on in the past are now are up for deletion. Would you vote in favor of keeping these articles? They show the history of the advancement of video game graphics over time and are useful as a source of images for graphics for video game articles. --ShaunMacPherson 20:04, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:Blunsdon_Match_Pic_2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Blunsdon_Match_Pic_2.jpg. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. -- Carnildo 15:47, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Blunsdon_United_Stand.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Blunsdon_United_Stand.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 05:48, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
